Friendship day !

Hi Folks !

I am among those category of people who were condemned to be dinosaurs but somehow escaped the agony of being labelled so !

Honestly I was grossly unaware about these premium fancy date like friendship day, Father's day , mother's day, valentines day. I used to vaguely hear these words during my schooldays but never understood the significance that is attached to the special day. In colleges I thought for any good deeds any day is good day to effectively express it. We had a lot of time then to do it repeatedly but gradually as I got into the rut of rat race in the name of being achiever I found to my dismay that I had to really struggle to remember my expression of gratitude and love for people who mattered in my life.

These Special days have come as a sort of reminder to people like me to realise how we have been removed and cut off from old world charms where expression of love and gratitude was bestowed at the drop of hat without waiting or reminded about it on a particular day !

But now I am a modern man who can pick a day to express the sentiments, pick a day to pay gratitude , pick a day to bestow love and affection to people who actually deserved constant and non stop indulgence to their existance !
